“I was excited to try all of these products! James always says how great they are, and of course your hair always looks/feels great after it’s been professionally cut/washed/styled … but what about when you’re in your normal routine at home … sometimes products that seemed great in the salon fall short in the real world.
As advised by James; I tried the ColorProof ClearItUp Detox Shampoo to rid my hair of the build up and residue from my current products. I could instantly feel a difference in the texture of my hair. After rinsing the ColorProof ClearItUp Detox Shampoo out my hair it literally felt squeaky clean + thicker than usual.
Next up I used the ColorProof SuperPlump Shampoo + Volumizing Conditioner … I couldn’t resist simply because the amazing scent of the conditioner ~ oh my, it smells just like cotton candy and makes me want to condition my hair all day long!! This shampoo and conditioner combo was certainly a treat, not only to my hair, but also to my senses, and they made my AM routine a little more luxurious.
I used ColorProof SuperPlump Shampoo + Volumizing Conditioner consistently for 4 days in a row and each of these days I was treated to fuller and healthier looking + feeling hair. It also seemed easier to style with my curls staying intact longer. I did notice that although James assured me a jelly bean sized amount of product would be plenty ~ I had more ease getting them through my hair when I doubled the quantity.
Happy with these newly discovered products, I had to push myself to try out the Kevin.Murphy Angel Wash + Rinse samples too! Although I found the Kevin.Murphy Angel.Rinse fragrance to be overly floral for my taste I figured my hair would not smell that strong in the end so I went ahead and used the Kevin.Murphy Angel.Wash + Angel.Rinse for the first time.
The Kevin.Murphy Angel.Wash was nice and silky, and it went on smooth but I had to work a little more than usual to produce a head full of lather, but again I was only using a small amount. The Kevin.Murphy Angel.Rinse was thick and my hair happily soaked it right up. After rinsing I did notice that my hair seemed to have a tacky texture and ended up with more tangles in the back than usual.
Even with the weirdness of texture/tangles … upon styling I experienced one of my BEST HAIR DAYS EVER. Hmmmmm… it was such an oxymoron; I did not like the feel of my hair with these products when it was WET, but once I gave my self a good blowout, my hair really responded positively to the Kevin.Murphy Angel.Wash + Angel.Rinse.
